In house audio transfer hosts formats from 35mm film to digital video. Restoration editors use Sonic Solutions Classic and ProTools Waves equipped workstations to remove the pops, hum, hiss, crackle, distortion and drop outs that degrade the viewing experience. Our editors with foreign language skills can augment tracks with new ADR and repair missing segments from M&E sources correcting audio problems before authoring begins. | ||
Soundtracks for DVD, HD/BluRay and HDTV are delivered in Dolby or DTS formats mastered to Academy standards and translated specially for home theatre listening. Compressions are delivered on formats including DVD-R, CD-R, DLT and LTO. Compressed tracks may be sent or retrieved electronically worldwide via our secure FTP server. |

A wide selection of archival formats can offer a high definition 24 bit/96 kHz digital archival master at the same time audio is prepared in 16/24 bit/48 kHz for DVD, HD/BluRay or HDTV formats. SCM can archive mastered soundtracks to DVD-R, CD-R, DLT, LTO, 1/2" DASH in 24/48 tracks, IEEE 1394 drives and various analog formats including 35mm six track magnetic film. |
