Sound Chamber Mastering accepts source audio in these formats:

  • 35mm Magnetic Film in 1,2,3,4 or 6 track formats

  • 35mm Optical Positive/Negative Film - Mono or Stereo

  • 16mm Magnetic or Optical Film - Mono or Stereo

  • 1/2/4/8/16/24 track analog tape with timecode/pilotone or FM sync

  • 1/2" DASH tape in 24/48 track formats at 44.1/48.0 kHz

  • DA88/98 in 44.1/48/96 kHz - 16,20 or 24 bit depths

  • DAT in 44.1/48.0 kHz - 16 bit depths

  • D1,D2,DigiBeta, 1" C Video - PAL/NTSC

  • WAV,AIFF,SDII files on DVD-R,CD-R,DLT,LTO,IEEE 1394 Drives or FTP retrieval

  • Sonic Solutions™ Classic and HD files in all formats

  • DigiDesign ProTools™ session files in all formats.

Picture reference guides should be made to these specifications:

  • DBC, Beta SP,  ¾” Umatic  or QuickTime™ video files

  • “Frame for Frame” copy of final video for sync reference

  • NTSC: 29.97 DF

  • NTSC: 29.97 NDF

  • PAL: 25  EBU

  • For ¾” Umatic cassette

    • Audio CH1: Mono Audio Sync Guide

    • Audio CH2: LTC

  • Matching timecode on timecode track

  • Please provide timecode "Burn In” on video and matching LTC/VITC



 

 


Compressed audio for DVD/HDTV/VOD are made to CD-R, DVD-R, DLT, LTO or IEEE 1394 drives.

Uncompressed archival masters made in Sonic Solutions™ or ProTools™ formats and written to DVD-R, DLT, LTO, or IEEE 1394 drives.

Digital tape archivals made to ½" DASH in 24/48 tracks or DA98. Analog archivals made to 35mm Magnetic Film.

Recalls for changes/reworks available on our SAN for a period of 60 days after audio delivery.
